There's going to be a gleefilled RP related post sometime in the near future, but in the meantime all I have is this about Chekov - ' the youngest cadet in history to win the Starfleet Academy marathon.

Also I'm now watching the Doctor from Voyager explaining dating/relationships to 7 of 9. I can't help but think Ushas could have benefited from that, although the hyper vodka did the job quite well.

So it takes less than two hours to get from Sheffield to Bedford, with one change. The Being Human convention now has a few more guests listed including Nina, Tully (Dean Lennox Kelly, fuck yes!) and Seth!!!!!! I still plan to hold out to see if they get Mitchell and Gulbert (Gilbert is totally the clintcher for me) but if/when they do I'm really going to have to buy tickets. I don't need to go out every again or buy anything new. It'll be fine!

RP has given me a slight thing for Johnny fucking Borrell. This bad news because I hate both him and Razorlight, people need to stop doing this to me! At least I was already very much in love with the Russian Jailbait.

Speaking of the Jailbait I went to see Star Trek again today and managed to catch more important details, like Vulcan having 10,000 survivers. 10,000! Do you know how many Gallifrey has? 1! That's not including Ushas of course, because I've worked out she's from a parallel universe. I also managed to spot Chekov in his cadet uniform at the very end, which I missed the first time. Not as hot as he is in his proper Starfleet uniform though.

Think I've decided to write Being Human for scifibigbang on account of me really not knowing enough about Star Trek to do it any justice whatsoever. I'd rather write a good story that takes a bit of effort than a shit one that rapes a lovely, lovely fandom I think.

This of course poses the question of what I should write - I'm currently trying to decide whether to write something where Bernie (you know, the little boy Mitchell befriends) turns up on their doorstep (George may be a supporting character, having moved out with Nina) or to write an AU where Annie's still human but meets George and Mitchell in a b+b having left Owen, only for her and Mitch to get close.

So which sounds more interesting? Or does anyone have any Being Human plot bunnies? I'd kind of love to involve Gilbert but I'm not sure I could think up a legitimate plot involving him that could work for 25,000+ words.

Guess who's just signed up to scifibigbang? Having signed up to the Doctor Who one and failing so, so badly it wasn't even funny I thought I'd give it another shot. I just need to decide what to write. At the moment it's between a Being Human fic (I have a couple of plot bunnies that could possibly work for this) or a Doctor Who/Star Trek crossover because...well okay because of the pretty Russian ensign and given I've already written a 8,000+ word fic with them in which nothing even happens I think I could easily complete 25,000 words in which something does. In fact I have a few ideas for that too.

Hearing Vampire Weekend suddenly has me really missing my awesome cousin Hannah. We had such an epic time when I took her out for the 18th. There was alcohol, in jokes, shit loads of dancing, mocking of people, laughing and most importantly no hangover the day after!

Early this morning (like 2.45amish) I came up the 'genius' (and only slightly drunken) idea of taking my laptop into my bedroom since I have wi-fi, after my mother banged on the floor in an irritated fashion to tell me to go to bed. I managed to get it upstairs without being caught, managed one more tag on the thread I was in and then totally panicked about being caught a)with the laptop in my room and b) having left the internet on downstairs when mum got up. Thus I then had to sneak back downstairs to replace everything and turn it all off.

To make things worse I still didn't get to sleep until dawn and I was up before her anyway and could have done it all anyway. I'm such a scaredy cat!
