Sooooooo apparently Depeche Mode will definitely be touring next year, and tickets will be in cale around October, which means any gigs I'd be torn about going to (like Black Kids) I'm no longer torn about because I'm gonna need all my money to do my DM stalking like last year (or was it the year before? Shit time moves fast!) This should also make not going out much easier to take. I'm going to see Howard Donald DJ at the end of the month and I really need to go to Plug again soon, but other than that I think I'll be okay not going anywhere. I mean a nigh out probably isn't much less than a ticket to see them, and well seeing DM is always amazing.

Klaxons are also meant to be releasing their new album soon, but since I've not heard anything about it for ages I'm expecting that to be put back a bit, knowing my luck the tours will clash and I'll have to decide who I love more, and I really don't know who'd win, there's a lot to consider for gigs when you're all short and shit :/

So last night can pretty much be summed up in three words and some punctuation - James fucking Righton!!!!!!!!!

So yes say it was going to be Klaxons DJing was a bit misleading, but when I first saw it advertised I did expect it to only be one of them and expected it to be him or Jamie. Steffan not being there was for the best cos I totally freaked out when I saw James so god knows what I'd have done if Steff had been there. James is sort of my second favourite anyway even if he is kind of a big dork, but he's a pretty dork so it's okay. The music he played wasn't great but tbh I don't care cos I was quite happy to just look at him (how shallow am I?)

If I'd bothered to hang around the DJ booth longer I think I'd have got to meet him, but I didn't cos I'm an idiot. I would've said something stupid though so probably best I didn't.

I don't feel too bad today just sort of tired which makes sense cos we were out past 3am and I'm old! But um it was really good actually, I might say more tomorrow when I'm more awake.

Holy shit there's a Klaxons DJ set at Plug next month! Now this means it'll probably be Jamie and James since that's what they're up to now but still OMFG yes! Now I am going to a Skins thing in Manchester a couple of days before which is likely to involve getting pretty drunk but who cares? OMG I might get to touch a Klaxon!

Yeah I know I seriously need to get a life and I really will look into doing that soon, but for now leave me to my scary obsessive fangirly ways.

Fuck! Apparently James Righton was DJing in Leeds last Saturday :( I clearly need to check the Klaxons more, I could've gone to that :(

Anyway I'm going to bed soonish I think ready for London tomorrow and the Klaxons Thursday - yay!

It also sounds as if my mourning for Steff's hair was a little premature, it's back now by all accounts. Which is just as well cos I was starting to think I was cursed - first Jason Orange, then Steffan and now Noel Fielding. Although Noel's looks pretty good actually.

I'll be back Saturday soon time, hope I don't miss too much.

Take That are up against Klaxons in the Brit Awards for best live act, omg! I mean yeah Take That win hands down, but it's Klaxons damn it, s'pose I'd better check to see what else Klaxons are nominated for or if that's the only one.

This is pretty much a GIP - Steff dressed as bellhop in tiny little shorts, dear God be still my beating heart! He also looks a bit like he's about to strip, but that could be just me.

So I think I've worked out the problem with standing at Klaxons gigs - Jamie is too damn tall, I could barely see Steffan on drums because Jamie was standing right in front of him, when James took over on guitar I could see him really well. Alex suggested I email the band to tell them this problem, I think it's a good idea.

I need bother waiting around in Leeds for Russell Brand btw, I just wanted to get home and now I'm knackered. I'm gonna be fucked tomorrow :/

And we're going to Leeds again next weekend to see March Violets.
